The home theater software Kodi is probably the best solution out there if you want to get the best media manager/player for all the video files on your computer, hard drive or media server, but one thing it lacks is a built in Blu-ray decoder. Then what is the best way to copy Blu-rays to Kodi for playback via network? If you've no idea about this, you're definitely being the right place.
Considering although Kodi can play many kinds of movies, it has difficulty in streaming encryption Blu-ray disc for getting stuck. So, to stick encryption Blu-ray to Kodi, you need remove the copy protection from Blu-ray and backup Blu-ray to Kodi in a normal format like MP4, MKV, MOV, AVI, etc for playback. Only comes with some help from third-party Blu-ray ripping software software, it can be done effortlessly.
Some guys recommend to have a look at the program MakeMKV, rips off disk or file directly to MKV. I've given it a whirl.
